Role Overview

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You will lead and inspire your team to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive, while driving continuous improvement and achieving positive outcomes for every young person in your care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing effective leadership, management, and supervision to the staff team.
  • Ensuring the home operates in full compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and Ofsted requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive, child-centred culture focused on achieving outstanding outcomes.
  • Leading on safeguarding, risk management, and the wellbeing of children and staff.
  • Managing budgets, staffing, recruitment, and the overall operational performance of the home.
  • Developing, mentoring, and supporting Deputy Managers and Residential Support Workers to reach their full potential.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, local authorities, and external professionals.
  • Driving continuous improvement through quality assurance, audits, and reflective practice.
  • Ensuring care planning, record keeping, and reporting are completed to the highest standard.
  • Championing the vision and values of the organisation while promoting a culture of excellence.
